The number of North Korean soldiers killed in Russia’s war against Ukraine has reached 4,000, President Volodymyr Zelensky claims.
Opening the 25th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s defense issues at the Ramstein air base in Germany, the Ukrainian president also said that Donald Trump’s arrival in the White House opens a “new chapter” for Europeans. He further added that there should be more cooperation between the parties.
“It is clear that a new chapter is opening for Europe and the whole world, a time when we need to work together even more, rely even more on each other and achieve even more significant results,” Zelensky said.
Among other things, he stressed that the deployment of Western military forces in Ukraine would contribute to “pushing Russia towards peace.”
