
The Council of Ministers approved on Thursday the decision that sets out the safety standards and rules for areas for the cultivation and processing of cannabis for medical purposes in our country.
Entities seeking a license to cultivate medical cannabis must ensure continuous monitoring with high-resolution cameras and storage of video data for up to one year on “Cloud” servers within the EU.
The premises must also be surrounded by 4-meter-high concrete walls, with barbed wire, for open and protected areas. – 24-hour security by specialized security entities, licensed by the legislation in force, as well as advanced technological equipment for the control and detection of unauthorized entry.
The decision also regulates the movement of transport vehicles for raw materials and final products of licensed entities.
